Sharing Our Family

I have lots of favorite pictures and I will start a page for anyone who wants to have me post them on our family blog. These are just some of mine just to get started.

Mandi had a blog Chaplinclan.blogspot.com that is super and has videos and pictures of her 3 kids. So enjoyable and funny to watch. You can spend hours on this. Type Chaplinclan.blogspot.com in the search bar and it's like reading a good book...you can't put it down.

This is one of my favorite grade-school pictures of Mandi. I think this was kindergarten. It is the only picture I have of this dress I designed and made without any pattern.

My Chemo years. I would have had Mandi in the picture but

she didn't want to shave her head. Todd Actually didn't shave his head for me because he always shaved his head. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in Oct 2003 (Breast cancer awareness month)

And this picture was taken about Feb 23,2004 just a week before my mastectomy. I had taken a round of chemo and then surgery and then another round of chemo. I was lucky... I was able to work, and I was never sick.

This is me being mauled by 4 beautiful little

girls. Eden hadn't warmed up to me yet.

Megan would tell them to stop mauling me

and I told her I didn't want them to stop.

I loved it.

This is Linda holding my raccoon with my baby deer, Bambi and our dog, Gizmo or Benji. I like this picture because it proves I wasn't always heavy.

This isn't a favorite picture but such a tragic one. This is Larry's house on fire. One of his neighbors captured the picture. They lost everything including one of their dogs. They were so lucky that no one was home. Larry's room was on the left and there would have been no way out.

This is George and I in 2009 on the beaches of Nome, Alaska. This was at the gold camp that was on the show Gold Fever. We had such a good time.

George and Linda at our wedding reception Oct. 6, 2013. We got married on May 31, 2013. We met on May 31, 2002. I did that so it would be easy to remember.
